Dear Parishioners:

I’m excited to announce new Redemptorist additions to St. Peter the Apostle Church and The National Shrine of St. John Neumann, effective mid-August:

Rev. Michael Cunningham, C.Ss.R. – Pastor
Rev. John Kingsbury, C.Ss.R. – Shrine Director
Rev. Joseph Dionne, C.Ss.R. – Rector
Rev. Jerry Knapp, C.Ss.R. – Parochial Vicar

Rev. Gerard Chylko, C.Ss.R. and Rev. Huan T. Le, C.Ss.R. will continue their tenure here as Parochial Vicars for this Parish. Fr. Cunningham is joining us from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Brooklyn, NY, Fr. Kingsbury from Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Baltimore, MD, Fr. Dionne from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clinton, NC and Fr. Knapp from San Alfonso Retreat House in Long Branch, NJ.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be sure to share contact information with you for the three of us who will be moving on to other assignments this Summer (myself, Fr. Tom Deely and Fr. John McLoughlin). The friendships we’ve made

here are cherished, and you will always be in our collective prayers — most especially to Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
I trust that you will benefit from the incoming leadership of our Parish, and that each of you will be ready to help our new priests get settled into their new roles. They are equally excited to meet all of you, and I’m sure you will be too – especially when you learn some fun facts about them (like how Fr. Cunningham was a linebacker in competitive football and a practicing pharmacist for over 15 years before being ordained as a priest, or how Fr. Kingsbury has served in our Redemptorist Provincial Government for over 20 years). We are truly blessed to welcome a talented group of Redemptorist Fathers to our St. Peter the Apostle community.

Kingsbury ha servido en nuestro Gobierno Provincial Redentorista durante más de 20 años). Estamos verdaderamente bendecidos de dar la bienvenida a un talentoso grupo de Padres Redentoristas a nuestra comunidad de San Pedro Apóstol.
