Dear Parishioners:
Our annual soup and bread supper on Thursday 3/14 was a great success. Having volunteers to help us every year has been a blessing that we are deeply grateful for. Contributions of soup, bread, beverages, monetary donations and service were invaluable in welcoming approximately 75 people from our parish/shrine/school community, and neighbors in the surrounding area. I want to personally thank the following people who contributed to the event in one or more of the ways I had mentioned: Sapphire and Moses Berrios, Nydia and Deacon Miguel Betancourt, Joanie and Rocky Bryan and the Teamsters Local 929, John Buchanan, Terry and Nick Campione, John, Juliana, Izzy, Mia and Shakirra Clark, Michael Clark, Sister Koreen Cote, John Franklin, Janean Gardener, Maxi and Bob Jalosjos, The Jozefowski Family, Nora Little, The Malave Family, Florence Micciolo, Evelyn Morales, Celine Nassar, Loan Ngo, Le Nguyen, Ann O’Donnell, Chuka Onugu, Sharen and Carlos Ortiz, Josephine Quinonez, Nicole and Lou Rodriguez, Cynthia Ruiz, Cathy and Bob Santos, Elisa and Paul Silva, Andrea Smallwood, Faye and Cesar Supelena and the Filipino Community of this Parish, Jean Taraborelli, Sister Carmen Torres, Nathanial Torres, Janine Tran, and Shicaira Walker. Thank you for having such a big heart and choosing to assist us! I know it’s not always an easy job to serve the community, but I hope you walked away feeling incredibly fulfilled. We appreciate you more than words can say, and hope that this event will gain more traction in the years to come. Nuestra cena anual de sopa y pan del jueves 14 de marzo fue un gran éxito. Tener voluntarios para ayudarnos cada año ha sido una bendición por la que estamos profundamente agradecidos.
